Masters of Horror: Pro-Life - Animatronic Demon HeadThis is a animatronic Demon head from the 2005 television series Masters of Horror. This costume piece was used in season two episode five "Pro-Life" as Angelique gives birth to a demonic creature. The head can be seen as worn by the demon father after he returns to collect his child. The head is crafted out of foam latex over a fiberglass helmet and metal frame. The entire piece has been painted and detailed and features a large set of stained resin teeth. Also featured on the helmet is two large, upward pointing horns attached at the helmet's top. Additionally, the head features large poppers lining the area around the head's back interior entrance, which would have been used during filming to securely attached the head to a body. This mask is designed to be worn on top of the performer's head, with small holes to allow eyesight. Best of all the full head appliance still contains a number of electronics including servos and radio control receivers, which would have been operated by remote control during the production with the main articulation points being the hinged jaw and eyes. The head measures approximately 13" x 16" x 18" (33cm x 41cm, x 46cm) Find Out Where to Buy: aStore |
