On the trail, Evans and Wade, each from very different worlds, begin to earn each other's respect. But with Wade's outfit on their trail -- and dangers at every turn -- the mission soon becomes a violent, impossible journey toward each man's destiny.
This is the .44-caliber revolver sniper rifle used in James Mangold’s 2007 western 3:10 to Yuma. After notorious outlaw Ben Wade (Russell Crowe) is captured and has to be taken to Contention to catch the 3:10 to Yuma prison, Dan Evans offers to make sure he gets there. But, it won’t be an easy road as Wade’s gang follows them every step of the way. One of the prominent members of this gang is the sniper Campos (Rio Alexander) who perches atop roofs and mountains picking off his victims when they least expect it. This Colt Model 1855 fitted with a full length telescopic sight is made entirely of hard rubber; with the body painted to resemble wood grain. This recognizable weapon is in excellent condition with light wear due to production use. The rifle measures approximately 50” (127cm) long with the hard rubber scope measuring 34” (86cm) in length.
